Our herd
- All animals have access to shelter from wind, and inclement weather
- Fresh water, and free choice mineral salt is available 24/7
- All our animals are regularly vaccinated and de-wormed
- All animals are micro-chipped
- We do not breed our females under the age of 24 months
- Our animals will not wear halters longer than for a working session or for veterinary treatment
- Male llamas sold as guardians are 19 months of age or older and will be gelded at the appropriate age of 18 month before leaving the farm
- We will not sell to petting zoos
- We will not sell llamas or alpacas for meat
The purchase of a llama includes
- A written contract with reproductive guarantees for breeding stock, live birth guarantee on bred females, and guarding guarantee for guard llamas
- An age appropriate halter, and a lead rope
- Health and breeding records
- Veterinary health certificate
- A book on raising and care for llamas
- After sale support
- Free board for up to 3 months
- 6 months free board for females previously purchased from our farm
- A written breeding contract including live birth guarantee
- Choice of method for pregnancy test (some restriction may apply)
- Special rate for transportation if required
